Every year in the early spring we gather our student missionaries for our "Boot Camp" training at the St George Island Christian Retreat Center. As soon as we step on campus we notice the Holy Spirit at work. The isolation, the beauty, the facilities and the humble spirit of the retreat staff all work together in a mighty way toward bonding and uplifting our missionaries. Our student missionaries come from as far away as Tennessee and all have different backgrounds and even different cultures. The bonding that must take place for our students and adults to be effective can only happen with God's presence. God is present in a powerfu way at the retreat center. You can't take a walk to the three crosses and not experience the Holy Spirit. You can't fully train without having extremely comfortable sleeping quarters and professional training rooms. You haven't experienced a truly Godly place of renewal and revival until you come to the St George Island Christian Retreat Center. We love it and plan to come every year.

Jeremy Pope I brought a group a few years ago and saw God move in a mighty way through that week. Because of the beauty of the retreat and being able to feel God wthout the distractions of life, we had 5 teenagers, one adult, and a 7 year old boy accept Christ as their Savior.
